On Saturday July 17th 2010, a sizable number of the Sierra Leone community in Minnesota descended on Saint Paul to attend the bridal shower of Esther Ellis, Assistant Social Secretary of Tegloma Minnesota Chapter, who is to wed Mr. Dennis Fitz-john in August. Tegloma members turned up in full force to support one of their own. Esther's bridesmaids organized a wonderful shower that embraced both the American cultures. Ms Esther Ellis and Mr. Dennis Fitz-john both hail from the small diamond rich West African nation of Sierra Leone, one of the beacons of democracy in Africa. Esther's mistress of ceremonies guided the occasion along and did an enthusiastic and remarkable job. We are all getting ready for the wedding in August. Still waiting for my handcrafted suit from Paris.
